M.A. OTR/L, CAPS
Gretchen has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a Master of Arts from Tufts University Boston School of Occupational Therapy in 1993.
She has worked in neurorehabilitation for 25 years, mostly with National Rehabilitation Hospital medical network in and around Washington D.C. and then in home health. She has specialized training in low vision, upper extremity management, and memory care and is also a Certified Aging in Place specialist.
She enjoys working with upper extremity functional recovery, low vision, caregiver education and coping with new onset disability. She moved from Maryland to Denver in 2016 and is so grateful to have joined the team at Integrated Rehab in spring of 2018.
PT, DPT, c/NDT
Leah received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX in 2015.
Leah’s passion for neurological rehab began while working as a rehab technician at a Skilled Nursing Facility prior to acceptance into PT school. It was there that Leah learned about a multitude of different diagnoses to include Stroke, Spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and Guillain-Barre syndrome.
Leah’s excitement for neurological rehab grew through a variety of clinical affiliations targeting these populations. After graduating, Leah earned a job in an inpatient/outpatient community day program in San Antonio for survivors of Brain Injury and Stroke in which she worked closely with an interdisciplinary team to address the patients holistically towards recovery.
Leah has since expanded her knowledge and skills for this population and pursued a certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) in 2016, as well as, taken courses for specialized evaluation and treatment for vestibular / oculomotor disorders, balance and coordination training and facilitating gait and functional mobility.
Leah moved from San Antonio to Denver in May 2017. She is excited to once again be a part of an interdisciplinary approach to neuro rehabilitation at Integrated Rehab.
Jillian received a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2014.
After graduating Jillian worked in a community based program for adults with developmental disabilities where she enjoyed working with patients with traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities. Across setting she has been drawn to working with patients with neurological impairments and is interested in the link between neurological and psychiatric co-morbidities.
She is a Certified Dementia Care Specialist through the Crisis Prevention Institute. Jillian moved from Queens New York to Denver in 2016 to enjoy hiking and skiing the Rockies, and is ecstatic to join the Integrated Rehab team.
Madeline received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
While attending Saint Louis University, Madeline dedicated herself to working with patients diagnosed with neurological disorders in various settings including long-term acute care, pediatric rehabilitation and outpatient. By working with patients of various conditions, prognoses, and backgrounds,
Madeline has experienced what “Quality of Life” means first hand. Madeline’s passion and love for physical therapy is driven to increase and/or maintain an individual’s quality of life and dignity throughout every treatment session.
Madeline is excited to continue her work in this neurological setting and strives to learn as much as she can from her patients. She has also received specialized training in rehabilitation for oncology patients in relation to chemotoxicity and cancer exercise management.
Madeline is originally from Greenwood Village, graduating from Regis Jesuit High School, and is very excited to return to the Denver area to be a part of this amazing team.
Speech Language Pathologist
Haley received a Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2016. Following graduation, she dedicated herself to the neuro population working in inpatient rehabilitation at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and inpatient acute and outpatient rehabilitation at United Hospital in St. Paul.
She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) and has additional training in treating voice and paradoxical vocal fold movement. Haley enjoys treating neurogenic speech and language disorders, cognitive-linguistic impairments, swallowing disorders, and voice disorders. She loves utilizing technology (both high tech and low tech) to find strategies and supports to help patients more fully participate in their daily life.
Exercise Physiologist & REHAB TECH
Danielle received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2017. Since graduating, she has become an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
Danielle brings clinical experience in cardiac and pulmonary outpatient rehabilitation, and is also certified in ECG/EKG monitoring. She loves working with special populations and helping individuals attain positive health outcomes while recovering from disease, injury, or other limiting factors. Danielle is a Colorado native and has been with Oncology Rehab (parent company of Integrated Rehab) since September 2017 and is excited to transition onto this new neuro team.
